I´ve caught the family bug! All I want is to have a family, be with families and teach and help familes. I´m starting to freak out a bit.....

Denisse gets baptized!

 Denisse gets baptized!

Looks like Jonny after his accident.  He's lucky to be alive!

Have NO idea what's up with the watches!

Dear Family, How are ya? I am Fine!

This week has been a little crazy yet rewarding at the same time!

Wow what to even start with...

So we had inter changes this week and I spent the day showing my District Leader (Elder Worthom from Georgia) around my sector; it was a really good exp. and I really learned a lot from him. I learned how to do a better contact and a new teaching style.

I really like the way he teaches La Primera lección. When we get the the part about teaching the Great Apostasy, he gets really animated. He tells it like it´s the worst thing that has every happened to the earth! ¨They killed Jesus! They Killed His Apostles! And they started their own church!!¨ haha Let's just say that it was a little hard for me to keep a straight face when I wasn't expecting this. Oh Man!

So we got visit Jonny at his house, Oh man; he looked like death! It really pained me to see him like this. But we ended up teaching him and giving him a blessing afterward. Hopefully he has some faith.....But other than that I love the guy, First thing he said when we walked in the door was ¨Hello my friends!¨ What a great guy!

So Dennisse's, (one of our investigators) dad is an inactive wanting to come back to church and we have been teaching them. They are so great! Well, this week we baptized Dennisse!!! She´s so great!! SO 4 days before the baptism her dad tells us that they might have to cancel and do it next week. He had to leave for work and wasn´t sure when he´d get back! He´s a trucker so he was going to be driving to northern Chile and back; we started praying that he would be back on time! He left Friday night and was able to get back Sunday morning at eight which was a miracle! I had never prayed so hard in my life! So great! Elder Fernandez baptised her and I will be confirming her next sunday! But that's if I stay...

So changes are this week and I really dont want to leave! I love this sector so much, even if it is ghetto and our ward is a little lazy... I still love it!!

We have had a change in our ward too.  From now on we Elders will be going to a ward member´s house each day for lunch. I like it but at the same time NO.....

Before we had to cook our own food everyday but Sunday and Saturday. My problem is that the members PILE food onto our plates and I have to eat it! and when I'm done....They put more on!!! I feel like I´ve gained five pounds this week... Urg! I like having meals for us but I really don't like it when they put a ton of food on.. I normally feel so sick when I'm done eating.

So I must be getting Sexy-er cause at least once a day this week when I´m done contacting, the woman tries to kiss me. And I always stick out my hand and say ¨ Perdón, Solo profesional ¨ One of these days I going to say ¨Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended unto my father¨ haha

Miss You Lots Have a great week!!

Major slip of the tongue

Elder Richardson has definitely NOT lost his sense of humor!

So our investigator Jonny Is in the hospital, So on friday night there was a Chanpionship match between Chile and Colombia and....Jonny went to a party and watched it. He relapsed that night and drank again! (He was doing so good!!! ARG!!!)

In other words we saw him  on the street and he was drunk! so we told him we still loved him and that we would see him tomorrow. Well we get to his house and no one is there, his nieghbor tells us he is at the hospital, and we think it was for his cousin ( he lives with his cousin and his cousin needs knee surgery.) And the neighbor is like no "Jonny Got hit by a car last night on his bike." So we left, I was in shock! So we pass by the next day to talk to his cousin and she told us it wasn't a car; it was a bus!!! He was nearly dead when they found him! And he´s alive and well but his skull and face were fractured... poor thing. We are going to visit him this week.

I know this is bad but I´ve started to hate Jehova´s Witnesses......Everytime we contact them they try to bible bash us and they waste our time. All they have to say to us is ¨Do you know the name of God?¨so the other day I was contacting a drunk and he well told me he was an X Jehova´s Witness. In Spanish they are called Testigos De Jehova, but I had a slip of tounge and called him a testicolo de Jehova which translates to Jehova´s Testicals........He wasn´t too happy about that......

We took a recent convert to the temple and it was so great.

OK I love you all so much .

 Love you all lots!!

Street contacting the dogs??  This is awesome, however, because perhaps his fear of dogs is going away??

It sounds like Steven is really enjoying his experience so far, but would appreciate your prayers.  He says that he loves the MTC in Chile and is working very hard.  Thanks for your support.

Steven has turned poet.

A son of man has left his home
And now he writes this simple poem
Learning all new sorts of things
  Learning about heavenly beings
He prays to get the language down
And greets each day without a frown
  Writing, reading, learning, teaching,
Always working never ceasing,
He prays his heart will not stop beating
Cause this is the way an Elder lives
And all his heart, he´ll surely give
So family, friends, and loved ones please
Remember me when on your knees
Love you all
